Description
Nuremberg, Germany. The beautiful half-timbered house, which sits along the Pegnitz river, is The Weinstadl. It was built between 1446 and 1448 and orginally provided shelter for lepers. After lepers were banished from the city it became a wine storage house and a place where poor families could stay. Now the building serves as a residence hall for students from the Erlangen-Nuremberg University.
